The purpose of this study is to find the key success factors for improving passenger service quality of Taichung Harbor by investigating quality enhancement.
Except reading literature reviews and interviewing with experts and scholars, the Dehuai method is also used to analyze statistical data and finally get the conclusion as follow. Through a three -time expert survey of Delphi Technique, we concluded that the seven critical factors were: “the establishment of incentive mechanism”, “completeness of hardware and software facilities in Taichung port”, “effective project management”, “appropriate staffing”, “the mechanism of customer feedback”, “number of internationally recognized tourist attractions and nearby attractions”, “inspecting the communication characteristics and validity between different digital tools and customers (such as what role does the websites and physical channels act in the situation that FB conveys brand spirit and activities to consumers.)“ respectively and so on.
The results can provide information for competent authorities of Taichung Harbor to help improve passenger service quality and enhance management performance.
