The purpose of this study was to explore the realtinships among 880 higher graders perceived teacher’s transformational leadership, emotional management and interpersonal relationship in the elementary schools of Taichung City. Survey questionnaire has been utilized as the research method and descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, Pearson product-moment correlation and multiple regression analysis were applied to analyze the data. The major findings of this study were summarized as followings: first, higher grade elementary school students perceived high level of teachers’ transformational leadership, moderate to high level of emotional management and moderate to high level interpersonal relationship. Second, partially significant differences were found in gender and birth order. Girls perceived higer transformational leadership than boys and the third order perceived higer transformational leadership than the second order. Third, partially significant differences were found in gender, grades and birth order. Girls had better emotional management than boys, fifth graders had better emotional management than sixth graders and first order had better emotional management than second order. Fourth, partially significant differences were found in gender and birth order. Girls had better interpersonal relation than boys, and first order had better interpersonal relation than second order. Fifth, there were significantly correlations among perceived teacher’s transformational leadership, emotional management and interpersonal relationship. Final, perceived teachers’ transformational leadership can individually predict emotional management and interpersonal relationship, and inspirational motivation was the strongest predictor. The suggestions of the findings were made for teachers and future researchers.
