An ultrasonic transducer is used as the secondary sound source. The area minimization method is changed to a volume minimization. The 10 dB quite zone is expanded and divided into ten equal area one from the secondary sound source to the human ear. The quite zone change is observed and applied with acoustic holography in the proposed active headrest system.
In the active noise control field a microphone array is used to measure the sound pressure in the desired quiet zone. However, there is no need to measure the sound pressure in the desire quiet zone using the microphone array in this study. The sound pressure spatial transformation is used to recreate the sound pressure in the desired quiet zone. The secondary source is also added in the desired quiet zone to control the noise.
