Then create the discrete ring involute teeth spherical gear pair with a double degree of freedom. The computer aided computing software is used to investigate the contact characteristics of spherical gear. Mathematica software package is used to design the mathematical model of imaginary rack cutter with variable modulus discrete conical teeth at first. Then determine the relationship of coordinate system between the generating and generated surface. Next, the surface family equation will be solved by homogeneous coordinate transformation matrix. Then find the Equation of meshing. The mathematic model of spherical gear pair with double degree can be created.
