First, use a laser diode with a wavelength of 808 nm as the excitation light source, Nd:YVO4 as the gain medium to convert the excitation light source to a 1064nm wavelength laser, a plane mirror and a concave lens to form a linear resonant cavity, and then use nonlinear crystals LBO and KTP respectively for frequency conversion, multiplied the fundamental frequency 1064nm to 532nm, a continuous wave green laser. Next, use a Nd:YVO4 crystal with a 532 nm high reflective coating to observe the effects on the green laser output power; then use different focus ratios of the coupling lens to change the size of the excitation light to observe the effects to green light laser output power. Finally, an acousto-optic crystal was introduced to form an active Q-switched green laser in this system, to establish output power curves at different repetition rates, and the performance of the pulse wave type of LBO and KTP. Digging into the crystal performance research.
