They are forced to upgrade their company technology to prevent eliminated by other company. This article discuss the history of the glass industry development. The glass technology starts from Egypt and transfer to the European in 500centry, the handmade glass technology is full development at Italy in 15 centry. The British show the industry glass product in 19 century, they have mass, cheap and good quality product because of the industry revolution. This article also show the glass development in Taiwan. To more understand the industry 4.0 application. This article also shows what is inustury 4.0. By taking example of glass industry, the information manage system shows the power of furnace control , temperature control and process analysis. In the end, the advantage and disadvantage of traditional industry upgrade to industry 4.0.
