Summary:碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 資訊管理研究所 === 106 === Due to the rapid globalization and movement of the economies, the problem of managing culturally diversified has arisen. We are moving to the world where economic boundaries between the countries are disappearing, and people are moving to other countries in order to find better jobs, bringing culturally diversified environment into the workplace. Many managers at organizations all over the world have met the challenges and benefits when they are running companies, and this is where cultural workforce is presented. This study is focused on an international company located in Taiwan, and aims to find out challenges and benefits related to cultural diversity. Furthermore study gives several suggestions about managing culturally diversified environment in order to allow organization get more benefits from it. Finally, the study aims to investigate how management deals with drawbacks caused by such an environment. Keywords: Cultural diversity, diversified workforce, managing diversity.
