Summary: | 碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 理學院科技與數位學習學程 === 106 === Alloy materials are often processed to various components in the industry recently. In particular, they are widely used in the machining of molds. In addition to increasing the rigidity of molds, the life of molds can be extended, thereby reducing the production costs. Moreover, after the treatments of grinding, anti-rust coating or hard anodizing, the properties of rustproof or waterproof can be achieved and fit the requirement in the market. Recently, the technique of femtosecond laser annealing had been applied to generate the local hydrophobicity on the surface of materials. In this thesis, we demonstrated that the local hydrophobicity of medium-carbon steel (S45C) can be carried out via femtosecond laser annealing. By changing the scan speed and laser power, we found out the optimal conditions for generating hydrophobicity on the surface of medium-carbon steel. The relation between the annealing conditions and hydrophobicity has been also revealed by some analysis methods, e.g., SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope), EDS (Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy), etc.
