The past literature has shown that righteous thoughts have positive effects on sports performance. However, these studies focus on the attention-awareness scale, and only a few use the sports mindfulness scale. In addition, at present, domestic There have been no studies on mindfulness and shooting athletes. Therefore, this article is to explore the relationship between mindfulness and shooting performance. In this study, a total of 169 elite athletes of the 10-meter air pistol participating in the National Youth Cup Shooting Championships were recruited, and the Stop Watching Awareness Scale and the Sports Mindfulness Scale were filled out to exclude 7 invalid and incomplete questionnaires. Finally, the mindfulness questionnaire is paired with the results of the competition to implement data processing and analysis. The results show that the players with high righteous thoughts have better performance, and the male and female shooting athletes have no difference in mindfulness scores. The attention control of the sports mindfulness scale for athletes over 19 years old is better than 13-15 years old and 16-18 years old. The 19-year-old sports mindfulness scale is not evaluated better than 13-15 years old. This result suggests that in the future, the intervention of mindfulness training can be carried out, and the ability to improve the mindfulness of attention control will help the player to improve athletic performance in the game situation.
