Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立體育大學 === 休閒產業經營學系 === 106 === The aim of this study was to determine the efficacies and mechanisms for efficacies of outdoor adventure education (OAE) course. This study adopted quantitative research of in-depth interview from six participants attending the four-day course of Studies in Outdoor Adventure Leadership based on the master program at Department of Civic Education and Leadership, National Taiwan Normal University. The results were as follows: 1. The six main efficacies of the OAE course included: “Lessons to adapt to a new environment in a more resilient way,” “Lessons to become a good leader,” “Teamwork positive learning,” “Enhancement of knowledge for the ability and adeptness during outdoor activities,” “Inner-self amelioration” and “Rewards from interaction with mother nature.” 2. The five main mechanisms for efficacies included: “Increase of intrinsic motivation from anticipation of the courses,” “Setup of team ambience,” “Positive impact from instructors,” “Support from teamwork” and “Modification of oneself from adjustment in imbalanced new environment.” This study also noted that the increase of intrinsic motivation from anticipation of the courses included in the main mechanism of efficacies could impact the learning efficacy of participants and that the positive impact from instructors played a significant role in the intention of learning and its efficacy of participants.
