Summary: | 碩士 === 國立暨南國際大學 === 資訊管理學系 === 106 === Choosing the combination of tools and holders is the first step of CNC (Computer numerical control) process. Wrong choice of holders will make interference happen between holders and workpieces, and excessive length of tools will weaken stiffness which is necessary for precision. The complicated factors on choosing the combination of tools and holders make manual operation time consuming and costly.
This research designed an algorithm to calculate the ranges of length and diameter of holders that will not interfere workpieces, and the shortest length of tools for best stiffness for end milling process. Based on this algorithm, a system has been implemented to search holders that can be used in process.
