| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 都市計劃學系 === 106 === Shenzhen High-Tech Industrial Park is the third-largest science park in China. While achieving such great achievement, there were no HEIs in Shenzhen until ‘Virtual University’ program attracted remote HEI resources in 1999. In a word, hi-tech industrial park induced the materialization of HEIs in Shenzhen, which is different from the common model of good HEIs prior to science parks.
This article explores the new Shenzhen model and finds out that although Shenzhen has no advantage in the number of universities and research institutes at first, it has formed a special technology innovation system based on market-orientation, industrialization as the core, enterprise as the main body as well as university and scientific research institutes.
