碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 教育研究所 === 106 === The purposes of this study were to explore the relationships among perceptive parental support, attitude toward service-learning participation, and intention toward civic engagement for junior high school students, to investigate the effect of perceptive parental support and attitude toward service-learning participation on intention toward civic engagement, and to examine the mediate effect of attitude toward service-learning participation in this model. There were 432 participants from eight junior high schools in Tainan city . The method of this study was to use partial least squares approach to analyze this model by SmartPLS. The findings of this study indicated that percptive parental support was positively related to attitude toward service-learning participation which was also positively related to intention on civic engagement. Moreover, attitude toward service-learning participation was a significant mediator in this model. Finally, some explanations for the findings and implications were provided. Based on the findings, this study also proposed some relevant suggestions that could be references for curriculum, guidance and future research.
