Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 民航研究所 === 106 === Fuel is one of the major cost components in airline operation. To effectively lower the overall expenditure, reduction of fuel consumption has become an important issue. This research is cooperated with a local airline company. By analyzing the QAR raw data provided by the company through data mining methods, such as database construction, correlation analysis and regression analysis, the relationships between fuel consumption and flight parameters can be verified, and fuel-conservative operational suggestions can also be provided. This research is divided into two sections, the flight phase analysis and the integrated analysis. Takeoff, initial climb, climb and cruise phase are analyzed separately in the former section, while the four phases are combined together and analyzed in the latter. The statistical results of flight phase analysis have shown that takeoff thrust, initial climb vertical speed, climb pitch, cruise calibrated airspeed and cruise altitude are the operational parameters most crucial to fuel consumption in the corresponding phases. Take takeoff thrust as an example, derate takeoff is recommended under the permission of aircraft and weather conditions. As for the integrated analysis, takeoff thrust and cruise altitude are the two parameters shown to be the most influential to total fuel consumption, which also implies that takeoff and cruise phase are more critical among the four phases selected for the research.
