| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 土木工程學系 === 106 === In this study, the procedure of liquefaction evaluation by Seed and Peacock (Youd et al., 2001), Japan Road Association (1996) and Huang et al. (2002) were used to study on the effect of groundwater level in the rainy and dry season to the soil liquefaction potential in Tainan metropolitan area under designed, and maximum accelerations, respectively. Then, the acceleration of Meinong earthquake and groundwater level of the dry season, was applied to the soil liquefaction evaluation to verify the correctness of the method. Also, the soil liquefaction assessment is integrated to the geological zoning proposed by Lee et al.(2005) as the reference to the practical design.
