In order to avoid structural damage and to ensure life safety, in addition to improving the structural toughness of the structure itself, dampers can be added to achieve the "energy dissipation" device when necessary to improve the earthquake resistance of the building structure.In this study, the six standard deviation DMAIC method was combined with the Taguchi method, and the damper dynamic test maximum load was taken as an example to find the best parameters to improve and optimize. The experimental results Cpk=1.43 is significantly different from the predecessor Cpk=0.47. The combined method can effectively improve the stability of the maximum load of the damper dynamic test, and serves as the basis for the damper effect of the damper in structural design.
