| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 國際政治研究所 === 106 === Xi Jinping''s reform on the military system has not only influenced the armed forces of China, but also caused an impact on this region. In order to explore the impact of Xi''s military reform policy, this study attempts to understand the background and the goal of the military reform of the CCP, as well as the challenges in the front of the PLA''s military reform. This study finds out that Xi, like other Chinese leaders, aims to consolidate the political power status through the military reform. On the other hand, he also wants to promote the military modernization of the PRC. However, China is still influenced by the conservative power, constrained by the great ground forces philosophy and faces problems with joint operations. Therefore, Xi''s reform on military organization won''t be able to achieve great leap forward for the PLA''s joint operations within a short period of time.
