Therefore, the adoption of information communication technology (ICT) in traceability for food safety protection has become an industrial trend. In addition to the adoption of ICT, confirming users’ behaviour is much more important. In this study, we extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to investigate the impact of the effectiveness of traceability on information quality and system quality. In order to understand the relation, we conducted a survey. According to the 120 valid respondents, the results showed that (1) perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness have positive impact on attitude, (2) perceived ease of use has positive impact on perceived usefulness, (3) attitude has positive impact on intention, (4) intention has positive impact on system use, (5) system quality has positive impact on perceived ease of use, (6) information quality has positive impact on perceived usefulness, (7) the effectiveness of traceability has positive impact on both information quality and system quality. According to the results, this study indicated that the effectiveness of traceability can reduce operation time and effort. Therefore, it is critical for firms in food industry to adopt the intelligence traceability technology.
