Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 科技管理研究所 === 106 === There is a high degree of correlation between economic growth and technological innovation, furthermore, the technological innovation and technological diversification are also closely related. In the past studies, researchers often discuss the relationship between economic and innovation, but only few studies have analyzed the correlation between economic and the development of technological diversification. In order to fill this gap, the study selected OECD member countries as research sample, and it has used the method that proposed by Zander in 1997 to calculate technological diversification of OECD member countries through patent data. In addition, the indicators such as R & D expenditures, Number of researchers, number of patent applications and ICT investment have also be selected as the independent variables that represent the technological development, and the study has used GDP as a dependent variable for economic growth. Through the calculation model, it attempt to analyze the strength of the relationship between technological development and economic growth. The results of analysis indicated that technological diversification is positively correlated with economic growth.
