Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 物理學系所 === 106 === Inspired by the experimental results of STM-IETS, we use the numerical method, VMPS, to do the time evolution of the spin chain and reproduce the spin-flip excitation energy spectrum of the conductivity diagram in the experiment. Using this method, we studied the AKLT model, as well as the pure spin chain, double impurity spin chain and single impurity spin chain model, and changed the coupling strength between the bulk and the impurity in the model containing impurities.By observing the changes in the energy spectrum, we have found some obvious characteristics of bulk excitation and edge excitation, as well as the amplitude distribution of the peaks values of the energy spectrum on different lattices, which can be explained by Ng''s theory of spin structure. We have provided experimentally possible observations of the properties of these short-chain spins. In particular, the STM-IETS experiment with the Kondo effect can further support our result.
