Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 化學系所 === 106 === In this study, using the properties of fatty acid which is not only a surfactant but also being easily separated from water only by acidification. To develop supramolecular microextraction method and use for the determination of UV filters in aqueous samples and commercial personal care products by HPLC-UV. Fatty-acid as extraction solution because it can surround those analytes by forming self-assembly micelles. When the pH value of the solution became lower sufficiently, the surfactant would transform into neutral and hydrophobic state which is slightly soluble in water, so we could take out the solution easily. . To optimize the extraction conditions, we compared different amount and types of fatty acid surfactants, inorganic acid, extraction time, salt adding performance, etc. The results indicated that under the conditions of 3% NaCl(aq) in 5 mL sample solution, add 500 uL 8% sodium heptanoate mix evenly, inject 400 uL hydrochloride acid and centrifuge would obtain the better extraction efficiency. Under the optimal conditions we proceeded the method validation. The linear range is from 1 to 200 ng mL-1 with the R2 = 0.9954, LOD from 0.08 to 0.1 ng mL-1 and the RSD less than 8.6%. On the other hands, diluted commercial personal care products are evaluated in 15.9, 11.0, and 57.6 ng mL-1 for HMB, OC and OMC respectively. All those spiked recoveries ranged from 76.2 to 109.6 %, RSD are lower than 7.7 %. In our research, only fatty acid surfactant, few inorganic acid and 3.5 min extraction time were consumed in the whole procedures. This method can be deemed as a simple, rapid, eco-friendly and efficient method for determining UV filters in our surroundings.
