Taking into account the maintenance of the ecological environment, according to the statistics of the Environmental Protection Agency, 19 electric arc furnace steel producers in China produce up to 1.5 million tons of oxidized slag and reducing slag per year. The annual production of Basic Oxygen Furnace slag by Sinosteel is as high as 1.6 million tons. At present, the slag in the plant area has piled up like a mountain. In order to find a solution, the Public Works Committee has also revised the "Code for the Construction of Public Works". In the future, public works will give priority to the use of slag resources such as Basic Oxygen Furnace slag to understand the problem of slag removal. The performance of Basic Oxygen Furnace slag for public works must be tested in detail. The Basic Oxygen Furnace slag is a steel mill that always works in steelmaking. When molten steel, auxiliary materials and scrap are added to the converter, it is blown with pure oxygen to produce molten steel and hot melt, and the cooled hot melt is called For Basic Oxygen Furnace slag (Basic Oxygen Furnace slag, BOF slag). Basic Oxygen Furnace slag is one of steel slag (steel slag), which has the characteristics of wear resistance, high hardness and high anti-sliding property, and the pellet characteristics are quite suitable for paving engineering. This study uses Basic Oxygen Furnace slag instead of asphalt mixing. Some of the pellets in the soil mixture are mixed and designed, paved in actual paving, such as Lingang East Road, Dongqi Road, Zhongshan Road, and regularly measured flatness, anti-sliding ability and rut to evaluate the application of Basic Oxygen Furnace slag Performance of asphalt concrete pavement.
