| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 國家政策與公共事務研究所 === 106 === In the past, it used to put much value on business and industry, whether agriculture doesn’t be taken seriously in Taiwan. However, after joining the WTO in 2002, the impact of large number of imported low-priced agricultural products on domestic agricultural products making the agriculture-industrial environment become more fragile.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the current agricultural industry environment under the current policy on dairy farmers, and to analyze the factors of policy on back-home-farming youngs. Therefore, this study will analyze the literature on the agricultural policy of youngs through the use of secondary data, and use the concept of career-choice theory in development policies to discuss the important aspects .In the other hand, the study will also take in-depth interviews to explore the relevant issues. Finally, the research will summarize all the feedbacks to get the conclusions of the implementation of agricultural policies.
Overall, this research found: 1. In the case of dairy farming, there are both inner and outer factors affecting youngs back-home farming; 2. Individual desire could be the main consideration on career-choosing.
