There are five items as inputs: the number of full-time teachers, the number of full-time associate professors and above, the number of academic research awards in the university, the number of Ph. D candidates, and research funds. In the meantime, there are six items as outputs: the approved amount of research funds, the number of approved research projects, the number of papers selected in the international citation database, the number of papers selected in academic journals, the number of professional reviewed books (book’s chapters) and patents, and the number of winners of academic awards outside the C University. The research questions as follows: the research efficiency of colleges and departments in the C University, the reasons of the inefficiency in those colleges and departments, the specific items for improving those inefficiencies, the research efficiency of those resource integrated and resource not-integrated colleges, the benchmarks of learning reference for those colleges and departments, and the management for how to solve the problem of inefficiency in their researches. The empirical results were as below: 1.The overall research efficiencies of the colleges in C University have been improved year by year, and the future of overall research efficiency of the departments in C University is steady. 2.In 2015-2016, C University research overall inefficiency of these colleges is because of the pure technology inefficiency and scale inefficiency, as well as the scale inefficiency. In 2017, 9 colleges in C University all have overall research efficiency. 3.In 2015-2017, C University research overall inefficiency of these departments is because of the scale inefficiency, as well as pure technology inefficiency and scale inefficiency. 4.In 2015-2016, the items that should be improved of those colleges with overall inefficiency of C University would be the research funds and the number of academic research awards. The output items that should be improved would be the number of winners of academic awards outside the C University, as well as the number of papers in the international citation database. 5.In 2015-2017, the items that should be improved of those departments with overall inefficiency of C University would be the research funds. The output items that should be improved would be the number of winners of academic awards outside the C University, as well as the number of papers in the international citation database. 6.In 2015-2017, there were 8 benchmarks of colleges, and there were 25 benchmarks of departments. 7.In 2015-2017, relatively, the research efficiency of the resource integrated colleges at C University is better. 8.In 2015-2017, for studying the research efficiency, resource not-integrated colleges could apply analyzing the inefficiency of their departments and then understood how to improve them, as well as they learned from those efficient departments to find out how to improve their research efficiency. 湯志民 陳榮政 2018 學位論文 ; thesis 171 zh-TW |
