Among them, the use of cold pavement technology to increase the solar radiation for the albedo, such as building roof, wall or public space pavement, roads, squares, etc., has gradually become a new research field and generally attention. It can be expected to reduce the urban heat island effect and the building of energy saving and carbon reduction can play a substantial benefit. In view of this, the main equipment is used, including: infrared thermal imager, radiation intensity meter (or pyranometer), CR1000 data loggers, etc. in this paper, we conducted a series tests of pavement surface infrared temperature and albedo for a long time in the real field environment, in order to be able to grasp the heat characteristics of various types of pavement. At the same time, with the normalization of the deduction process, proposed artificial pavement simple assessment indicators, hoping to serve as a future project planning stage to consider the basis for reducing the urban heat island effect. The preliminary results show that: (1) The surface temperature of the water body, grassland and grass brick is relatively low, while the asphalt pavement, insulation brick and rough PU are relatively high. Showing dark (black) color, rough and thick surface, due to low ability to reflect and easy vi to accumulate higher solar radiation heat, which has a higher surface temperature; the other hand, permeable or porous materials and waxy layers of plant foliage can contribute to the evaporation and reflection of solar radiation. (2) There is such a phenomenon, the insulation brick surface temperature of old roof is higher than the asphalt pavement, showing people used to use insulation brick as a roof insulation practice, but there are derivative concerns of the local ambient temperature heat load. (3) Pavement Temperature Load Index In this study, the use of "Pavement Temperature Load Index, " and "Improvement Targets of the Temperature Difference Strength, ", the initial validation can be easily used to assess a region of artificial pavement material use is excessive and improper, and what pavement material should give priority to improve its surface temperature or reduce its use.
