Summary: | 碩士 === 明新科技大學 === 管理研究所碩士在職專班 === 106 === In order to achieve the full recruitment needs, the Ministry of National Defense actively promoted the existing volunteer service team; furthermore, the "national defense training class" was implanted in 2018, it aims to extend the recruiting force down to senior secondary schools, and to set up defense-related professional classes in those high schools, with the hope that, they can continue and enhance the effectiveness of national defense recruitment after the military training instructors withdrawing from the campus. At present, the National Military is recruiting volunteers. For the manpower, due to the cessation of compulsory military service, recruitment is bound to be achieved through the increase of new sources of volunteer service, the strong recruitment advertisements, and also, the flexible recruitment strategies.
The results of the study confirmed that the willingness of joining the military of the high school graduates in the region has a significant relationship with the individual background. The students with higher willingness in the test are mainly living in Hsinchu County, and go to comprehensive high schools or vocational high schools. Most of the parents of the students are engaged in the industrial field; in addition, most of the students are from regular families with fair financial status. Volunteer service is the top choice for most students and the pre-service is less than
5 years.The economics is the main reason for most senior high school graduates who choose to join the military, however, when the risk of the applicant's perception exceeds the scope of self-expectation and acceptance, the corresponding actions will be taken to reduce the risk. In this case, many potential students who hesitate about joining the military, or they have re-selected to join the ranks of the national army in the shorter period of five years.
National defense and military affairs require a large number of young and new blood to participate for sustainable development. Therefore, how to change the values of our people and establish a positive evaluation of the military is important, so that people can truly understand the value of the national military, moreover, we should consider the practical situation of the troops to meet the actual needs of the applicants as the first priority in order to achieve good results.
