Furthermore, the total phenol and flavonoids extracts from the optimal extraction conditions are to examine their antioxidant characteristics. The results indicated as listed below: The extracted optimal conditions of Echinacea in total phenolics were 38% ethanol, liquid-solid ratio 100% at 60 ℃ for 3 hours. The extraction yield in total phenolics was 36.9446mg/g. Echinacea in flavonoids was optimally extracted by 40% ethanol, liquid-solid ratio 100% at 60℃ for 5 hours. The extraction yield in flavonoids was 34.0579mg/g. The results of antioxidant characteristics in total phenolics and flavonoids of Echinacea from optimal extracted conditions showed the reducing ability by 1.30 and 0.72, a scavenging DPPH radical ability by 70.58% and 61.54%, respectively. 碩士 === 明新科技大學 === 化學工程與材料科技系碩士在職專班 === 107 === Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is to apply the extracted from Echinacea as the raw material regarding the changes of: (1) Time (2) Temperature (3) Extracted ethanol concentration (4) Solid-liquid Ratio to investigate in total phenols and flavonoids, by using the response surface methodology (RSM) to obtain the optimal extraction conditions.
