Semiconductors have always played the role of technology to achieve and promote the continuous development of the economy. The development of technology in semiconductor industry is also regarded as one of the indicators of national modernization. With the advent of the AI era, intelligent and artificial intelligence related products have emerged one after another, the IC industry is booming. In order to pursue the stability of advanced processes, materials must undergo repeated analysis and testing, which has led to a significant increase in demand for material analysis and verification testing. The high-standard professional analysis talents and the cost of testing equipment force the industry to detect and analyze the external OEMs, which makes the material analysis industry enter the capacity. Material analysts face complex and diverse customer needs, and the stability of their internal operations and the flexibility of staff scheduling have become the key to achieving customer delivery and an important consideration for customers to rely on as long-term partners.
This study is based on the Six Sigma DMAIC management method. The semiconductor material analysis workflow is used as a research case. Through the Six Sigma management method and other phased discussions, the key factors affecting the production capacity in the process are identified, through deletion, consolidation, and heavy Rows and simplifications are improved and the best solution is standardized. It is expected that the DMAIC improvement method with Six Sigma will expand production capacity, continue to enhance competitiveness, and widen the gap between leading and peers.
