In order to achieve the above research purposes, this study adopted in-depth interviews in qualitative research methods, supplemented by relevant literature data for data collection and analysis. In other words, semi-structured interviews were conducted for preschool educators in five public kindergartens of the Hengchun Peninsula, that were Lion Township, Checheng Township, Hengchun Township, Peony Township, and Manzhou Township. The work experience of interviewees were more than two years. There were 10 interviewees, including 5 teachers and 5 educare givers. There were two sources for data collection. First, the research collected relevant documents about “job satisfaction” and “well-being” in Chinese and English books, periodicals, and newspapers as the theoretical basis. Secondly, primary data obtained by 10 preschool educators in five of hengchun’s public kindergartens in the 2017 academic year. After the interview data was converted into verbatim scripts, the collected texts were then used for coding and analysis. The research findings of the study were listed as follows : 1. The job satisfaction of preschool educators in public kindergartens in the five public towns of Hengchun Peninsula was satisfied with the “work content”, “family support” and “interpersonal interaction”. 2. The well-being of preschool educators in public kindergartens in the five public towns of Hengchun Peninsula has a high degree of well-being in “Do you like this job?” and “Do you choose to work?”. 3. Teachers and educare givers had a difference in job satisfaction due to different “job content” and “salary benefits”. 4. Teachers and educare givers had a difference in well-being due to “living Environment”. This research suggests that the relevant units improve the status of different pay for equal work in kindergartens or increase the relevant benefits for educare givers ; full-time administration or reduction of administrative workload ; finally, I hope relevant units can improve the transportation, medical and educational environment in Hengchun Peninsula.
