It often conducts bidding and price cuts because of business competition. As a result, many security staffs are replaced quickly, education costs are raised, organizational performance is poor, and job stress are high, resulting in failure to achieve company revenue goal. This dissertation focuses on the study of facets for the safety staff's work values and job stress, and understands the impact of “work values” and “job stress” on “organizational performance”. The purpose of the research explores the influence of the management security staff's work values and job stress on organizational performance. To understand the reduction in job stress effectively enhances the security staff's work values and organizational performance, and finally achieves the company’s expected goals. The research results will also put forward personal recommendations for the protection of the industry as a reference for assisting in management work, and for more specific results on recruitment, training, performance appraisal, and personnel retention.
We select security staffs in the Taichung City, Changhua City and Changhua County as the research object and conduct questionnaire surveys in a convenient way. A total of 300 valid questionnaires were obtained. Data analysis was performed using SPSS statistical software for collation and analysis. The results of the research and analysis show that employees with different personal background variables, employees with older work values and work stress are better than younger employees; work values with higher monthly income are significantly higher than those with low income, work values, job stress, and organizational performance. The performance also has a significant correlation. According to the results of this study, the following suggestions for the preservation industry are mentioned. (1) Work values are used as supplementary tools for recruitment and selection. (2) Development of security staffs related licenses. (3) Creating a humane quality management work environment. (4) Reducing vicious competition, high-care industry treatment and benefits. (5) Recruiting high-quality manpower such as military and police to join the security industry.
