The teaching unit is the square_root resolution which is fundamental knowledge in terms of algebra in the years to come. Quasi-experiment conducted the research method of this study. Two classes are experimental group with integrating information into mathematical instruction and control group. The subjects of this study consist of 8th-grade students in Kinmen County. The processes of this study have 4 stages: (1) An assessment questionnaire on square_root resolution by the author; (2) Content reliability as an instrument of this study was evaluated and confirmed by subject-matter experts; (3) The qualitative interview from students was designed to explore the misconception of square_root resolution; (4) An interview with senior math teachers was conducted to explore the misconception patterns on integrating information into math instruction.   The major 4 findings of this study are shown as follows, 1.The experimental group gets higher garde, but the learning effectiveness between experimental and control is not significantly different. 2.The high, middle, and low grade level are high then control group, but the learning effectiveness among them are not significantly different. 3.The learning effectiveness of gender is not significantly different. 4.Misconception patterns of the square_root among students were analyzed into 5 patterns.
