It focuses on the theme of “healing” in the narratives of The Body, and explores how the body experiences of the author and the others affect her own self, and even turn over a new leaf in her life. The body talks about "the body", which refers to her(the author’s ) own body and the other’s body. In additon, it contains not only the body of a man but also the one of an animal, and even includes the body of the dead. Furthermore, the reflection on “the body” revolve about the body and spirit of a man, also concern with the "painful" issues in the suffering body. This paper examines the three aspects of "Looking at myself: beginning with my body", "Looking after otherselves: connecting with one's own body experience", and "Looking back to myself: the new begining of returning". As the context of the analysis: starting from the discussion of the author's own bodily experience, including the perception of her body and of the outside world, and the healing awakening of the process; secondly, focusing on the compassion for the other's body and the understanding of the suffering body, which is in order to seek “painful” meaning and enlighten healing; at last, the results show that the author’s own bodily experiences in The Body lead to healing enlightenment and the new writing pattern created for the author's life title page.
