Summary:碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 都市規劃與防災學系碩士班 === 106 === Place names usually can show local characteristic, following the dynasty transfer, the rule alternations, and geographical changes, place names can change, however, place name also equally record a most original appearance and experience successively of disaster in a region.After 311 earthquake and tsunami in Japan, more than 200 large tsunami monuments earlier discovered over the hilly and highland of Japan's Sanriku Coast began to attract attention. Old place names, like tsunami monuments remind us of the disaster message, because the disasters often repeat the occurrence. This study through literature review and data collection, take some main places with old names related to flood hazard and classifies them according to their similar meanings. On the history map of 1921 Taiwan Fort Map Taisho, locates and demarcates the locations of are the places with old names related with flood hazard with scope. Through Geographic Information System and The potential inundation maps of 24 hours accumulated rainfall equal to 600mm, also have historical flood disasters in New Taipei City during 2012-2016. And then further analysis of the above two types of analysis by Risk Matrix of high, medium and low risk areas to understand what old place names, and flood-related keyword group is relatively high risk area of floods. A total of 41 have the places with old names related to flood hazard in New Taipei City. The study found that the high flood risk areas of the places with old names related with flood hazard were rank with "Shuizhuizhuang", "Xikang" and "Nangangzizhuang" of Luzhou District, "Dazhuwei", "Miaoxing", Sanqiao District and "Aberdeen Mouth" of Sanchong District, "Aberdeen" and "Aberdeen Mouth" of Banqiao District, "Dingxi Island" and "Xiaoxi Island" of Yonghe District, "Shiowei " of Zhonghe District, "Tanjhuangzhuang" of Shulin District and "Ganlinpi" of Tucheng District. Are the places with old names related with flood hazard keyword groups with high flood risk are the third category in this study, "墘","港" means rivers and seaside, and the fourth category are "圳","汴","埤"and"陂" means man-made water facilities, the sixth category are "溝","溪","水","潭","橋"and"海" meaning where there is water flow and the seventh category are "湳"and"塭" means wetlands. It is hoped that by the information collection and analysis of the places with old names related with flood hazard, can be an important medium for residents to understand disaster risk, and enhances residents on the relationship between old place names and disasters, and serves as a reference for local disaster prevention measures and scientific research.
