ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) can assist in electronic, resource allocation and planning for company. Their study will use inventory record of ERP to forecast safety stocks. This study used stand-alone version of ERP establishing BOM (Bill of Material) table and designing the purchase-sale-inventory to the application process in fin-tube heat exchanger. The time series analysis models were used to predict safety stock. Finally, those predicted models will be compared the predictive power by RMSE (root-mean-square error). The results in this study came from the year 2012 to 2016. The safety stock was calculated based on the amount of material per month of steel tube and steel rolls, and established the time series forecasting model (long-term trend and seasonal variation), then the data of year 2017 was used as verification. The models were compared by RMSE showing that the forecast results of seasonal variation are closer to the actual safety stocks.
