In recent years, the gymnasium designed for women has become more and more popular. There are even roads for women, sports clubs and other activities, highlighting women's participation in fitness. The demand for sports is increasingly being valued. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore whether women with different background variables have differences in self-physical imagery and motivation for sports participation, and to analyze the current state and relationship of body image and motivation of sports participation.
A total of 328 questionnaires were sent out in this study, and 314 valid questionnaires were collected. The data collected were analyzed by SPSS statistical software. The results of the study showed: (1) In the body image statistics, "I am worried that the body size is too big to wear." The clothes have the highest average. "I am very satisfied with my current health condition." The average is the lowest. (2) In the statistics of sports participation motivation, “I maintain my body by sports” has the highest average. “I use sports to know the lowest number of new friends who have common hobbies. (3) The top three factors of women’s participation in sports are lazy. Work, no time. (4) Body image has a developing influence on body weight, pressure, and interpersonal relationship.
Finally, this study also proposes several suggestions for women's meal and exercise obstruction: (1) suggest that women integrate exercise into their lives (for example: try to climb stairs when going upstairs, walk away from destinations, etc.), step by step Into exercise habits, reduce the reasons for participating in sports obstacles, usually learn to take materials locally, use the items at hand, as sports equipment. (2) These well-known fitness celebrities can be invited to give lectures, provide fitness experience sharing, give correct fitness concepts, and use the concept of biased body that is prevalent in women to enhance women's positive emotions towards self-image.
