Particularly in recent years, the national army has faced organizational restructuring and changes in the social atmosphere, which has caused the issue of the national army to receive increasing attention.This study aims to understand current job satisfaction of the active officers and plan to develop ways of releasing stress and adjust work pressure timely, thereby the pressure factor can be converted into incentive factors. In hope to create the maximum benefit of the national army organization and to achieve national defense goals. In this study, 322 southern army basic unit officers are adopted. The researcher compiles the “Organizational Commitment Scale”, “Work Pressure Scale” and “Job Satisfaction Scale”. Using structured questionnaire surveys and quantitative analysis for data analysis—including descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson correlation analysis and canonical correlation analysis. The study found that the status of the military officers’ organizational commitments, work pressures, and job satisfaction are upper-middle level, at present. Military officers’ organizational commitment significantly and positive affects job satisfaction. On the contrary, work pressure can negatively affect job satisfaction. In the background of variance analysis: It is showed that none significant differences are found in military officers in terms of “Rank”, “Arms Division”, “Seniority”, and “Marital Status”.
