When fire forms to raging flames, the temperature, smoke, and the fire will increase their power. Flashover will eventually occurs at some point, and when it does, the surviving chance of human life on site will decrease. So it is definite that the human life researching is the most important mission for every fireman on the scene. This study is to discuss the structure of indoor positioning system(IPS), combined with fire control and rescue tactics. This combination is looking to increase surviving rate of human life and the safety of fireman on site. Through the questionnaires, investigate the hazards of interior rescue, personal protective equipment and training, and rescue command tactic, and also to analyze the importance of IPS while processing this tactic. The result shows that the more fire fighters pay attention to the hazardous elements, the more personal protective equipment improves, the more complete fire rescue strategies become, and the more agreement of using IPS. If in the future, this technology can be improved by up to date skills and equipments, and enforce larger buildings or factors to equip IPS system, it will greatly decrease the risk of casualties and fireman.
