Measurements were taken separately in the selected sample and analyze the indoor environment in the rooms. In this study, ten samples of residential apartments in Tainan City and Kaohsiung City were measured, then collected the data of measurement and evaluated for performance of natural lighting. The study concluded as follows: First, measured results and analysis of the living room: Daylight factor of each measuring point in the morning and at the afternoon was as follows. 16 data were measured at 1M distance from window, and all of data are above 0.7% standard. At 2M distance from window, 16 data are measured and there are 15 measured data above 0.7% standard, the percentage is 93%. At 3M distance from window, 14 data are measured that included 12 measured data are above 0.7% standard, the percentage is 85%. Second, measured results and analysis of bedrooms: Daylight factor of each measuring point in the morning and at the afternoon was as follows. 46 data were measured at 1M distance from window, and there were 43 data are above 0.7% standard that the percentage is 97%. At 2M distance from window, 37 data are measured and there are 34 measured data above 0.7% standard, the percentage is 91%. At 3M distance from window, 20 data are measured that included 19 measured data are above 0.7% standard that the percentage is 95%. Third, the results and analysis of surface ratio of window to floor in the living room and the main bedroom : The results of the morning time in the living room, 1M position gets R2 = 0.1866, 2M position gets R2 = 0.3057, 3M position gets R2 = 0.2822, the result of the afternoon time, 1M position gets R2 = 0.2474, 2M position gets R2 = 0.37, 3M position gets R2 = 0.4011. The results of the morning time in the main bedroom, 1M position gets R2=0.0051, 2M position gets R2=0.0099, 3M position gets R2=0.3298, the Results of the afternoon time, 1M position gets R2=0.068, 2M position gets R2=0.1052, 3M position gets R2=0.4652.
