Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 化學工程與材料工程系碩士在職專班 === 106 === The flame-retardant composites were prepared using PET, Nylon 6 and HDPE/PP (1:0.3) with the different weight percentages of flame retardant, 2-Carboxyethyl(Phenylphosphinic)acid (CEPPA),via the melt compounding process. The flame-retardant properties in the various composites were thoroughly investigated through the limited oxygen index (LOI). The thermal properties were also explored by the thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA) and differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). The results show that the LOI values of the PET and Nylon 6 composites were obviously enhanced to 35 when small amount of CEPPA was added. Nevertheless, it was inefficient in the HDPE/PP (1:0.3) system. The optimum amount of CEPPA for PET system is about 1 ~ 2 phr based on the PET weight, and for Nylon 6 system is about 3 ~ 4 phr based on the Nylon weight.
