Questionnaire surveys were used to understand the status of primary school teachers' awareness of natural disaster prevention and prevention, and the related circumstances of “disaster prevention knowledge”, “disaster prevention attitude” and “disaster prevention behavior”. Is it different due to different background variables? Questionnaires were issued for a total of four primary schools, and 90 questionnaires were valid. Descriptive statistics, independent sample single-factor analysis of variance, and Pearson's plot correlation were used for statistical analysis. The research found that elementary school teachers’ understanding of “prevention and disaster prevention” was relatively good. Among them, the knowledge of wind disasters had the highest rate of correct answers and the knowledge of earthquake disasters was the lowest. The knowledge of earthquake disasters still needs to be strengthened. There is a significant positive correlation between teachers' "prevention attitude" and "disaster prevention behavior". The emergency disaster prevention attitude and the tendency of disaster prevention behavior are relatively weak. It shows that the teachers' confidence in the handling of disasters is relatively weak. The "average overall facet of disaster prevention behavior" is larger than the disaster prevention attitude. There is a significant positive correlation between the "prevention attitude" and the "prevention behavior" aspect.. The main contribution of this study is to understand the current state of the elementary school teachers' knowledge of disaster prevention in natural disasters, which can be used as reference information for improving disaster prevention education in the future.This study suggests that primary schools should pay enthusiastic attitude with disaster prevention education-related courses or study and deepen teacher response to the disaster.
