Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 電機工程系博碩士班 === 106 === In order to pursue the optimization of the advanced process of the petrochemical industry, it will be more effective with less effort by using the chemical process simulation software to design and simulate the process in advance to determine the best operating conditions, so as to achieve more productivity, energy saving, reduce the loss and reduce waste emissions. In this thesis, a polystyrene plant was designed and produced polystyrene by continuous bulk polymerization. It consists two continuous stirred tank reactors for the pre-polymerization processes and a plug flow reactor for the post polymerization process. The static simulation results about the factors of temperature and feed rate of the designed polystyrene process by ASPEN PLUS software can provide a reference for the operation of the field production conditions.
