Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 電機工程系博碩士班 === 106 === The increasing penetration rate of photovoltaic (PV) systems has caused the load on power plants to surge after dusk, when PV systems cease to generate power. The consequent substantial variation in power demand before and after nightfall leads to a considerable challenge for power dispatch. To determine how potential PV systems should be allocated depending on the power load and number of available generator sets, this study evaluated the potential for PV systems in Taiwan and estimated the load curves for PV power generation and power consumption in 2025 and 2030. The results can serve as a reference for establishing and promoting PV systems in response to the uncertain power dispatch conditions. Additionally, this study investigated how the electrical grid is affected by changes in sunshine duration, transient responses caused by seasonal transitions, and the grid connection with PV systems when the grid-connected capacity reaches 20 GW in 2025.
