The MGSS combined with the Environmental Internet of Things (EIoT) are used to monitor and track the sources of air pollution for Environmental Protection Bureau (EPB). In addition, the self-developed Mini-Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (Mini-CEMS) are also used to monitor pollution emitted from chimneys and verify the efficiency of air pollution control equipment. It's worth to mention that the air pollution monitoring network integrated with LIDAR (LIght Detection And Ranging), MGSS and Mini-CEMS in Linkou industrial zone succeeded in preventing the deterioration of air quality during the period of 2017 World University Games. For this reason, based on the characteristics of various indigenous instruments, this study will also offer a more comprehensive method to enhance the effectiveness of inspection and to strengthen the capability of the monitoring for environmental protection.
