Due to the difference between product's shape and size of each product for the production process, the jig and fixture plays an indispensable role. If the fixture, in the replacement process consume too much time and personnel, will affect the production process and cost, thereby affecting the company's efficiency and competitiveness. On the contrary, if the jig and fixture with better design, replacement time can be shortened, thus increasing the production efficiency and decreasing the personnel time, also enhancing the efficiency and competitiveness of company.
This research discusses the design procedure of the jig and fixture to decrease the replacement time, increase the installation efficiency and improve the production efficiency by shortening the production line deadlines. Therefore, by combining the concept of the convenience of production personnel into the design, so that production personnel can get started easily.
Finally, this research applies the design concept to the real jig and fixture, by manufacturing and installation and conducting the operation test, verify and compare.Thus making the research more valid for industrial application.
