Administrative ethics arouses the active efforts of civil servants to promote the smooth progress of public jobs by reasonable and fair system in an internal organization. This study is to understand the impact of administrative ethics on the quality of civil servants’ working life in Hualien civil service system. 337 valid questionnaires were collected by using convenient sampling,. Five major constructs of administrative ethics: honesty, loyalty, professionalism, effectiveness, and care; quality of working life can be divided into four constructs: job satisfaction, fairness, sense of work honor, and interpersonal relationships. The analysis of the four regression models conducted by SPSS shows that the five major constructs of administrative ethics have a significant positive effect on the quality of their working life. That is, administrative ethics can indeed improve the quality of their working life. Based on the empirical results, this study provides practical suggestions for public organizations, civil servants, and also for follow-up investigators.
