Summary:碩士 === 開南大學 === 人文社會學院公共管理碩士在職專班 === 107 === The purpose of the study is to understand parents' attitude toward their primary school children's English learning efficiency, and to explore the differences in the attitudes of parents with different background changes to English learning efficiency. The participants were parents of children in a public elementary school in Taoyuan City. The research method is a questionnaire survey, through the self-compiled questionnaire on the attitude of parents of primary school children in English learning, with 74 questionnaires were successfully collected. Based on the results , the following conclusions were obtained: 1.The attitude of parents toward their primary school children's English learning efficiency have shown a high degree of recognition. 2.In the attitude of parents toward their primary school children's English learning efficiency, parents have a relatively high awareness of the importance of "knowledge of language components" and "language proficiency orientation", and relatively low awareness of the importance of "cultural and customary orientation". 3.Parents of primary school children with different background changes, there was no significant difference in cognitive differences at all levels of the evaluation criteria for English learning efficiency. Finally, specific suggestions for the results of this study are provided for elementary school teachers, educational administrations and future researchers
