Summary: | 碩士 === 開南大學 === 華語文教學研究所 === 106 === Mandarin Chinese has been ranked one of the hardest foreign languages to learn, and the reason being the difficulty of Chinese writing system. Yet it is also interesting finding out that the foreigners are fascinated by Chinese Calligraphy. The two fundamental values of Chinese culture are “Ki“ and ”Calligraphy“, this research first discusses how “Ki Calligraphy“ was derived from “Li Calligraphy“ in Taiwan in 1996 and applied to Learning Chinese as a Foreign Language aimed to overcome the strait of Chinese writing system. Followed by the demonstration of “Ki Calligraphy“ by the researcher, and discovering the practice of “Ki Calligraphy“ in teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language from 2005 to 2016. Lastly, based on the past experience, this research developed more efficient short term and long term teaching plans of “Ki Calligraphy“.
