Summary: | 碩士 === 國立金門大學 === 運動與休閒學系 === 106 === The aim of the study was to investigate that when the aviation police officers face career choice and development, it would be explored the relationships among the different demographic variables of police officers in self-efficacy, the related situations of high and low barriers to career development, and the relationship between social support and self-efficacy in the career development of police officers. 600 questionnaires survey were distributed. Then, the valid recovery rate was 88% (529 valid questionnaires). Statistical analysis was carried out with the use of SPSS12 software.the t-test, one way ANOVA, Pearson Correlation, and regression analysis were used. The main findings of this study were as follows:
(1) There was a significant different self-efficacy in the different workplace officers. The self-efficacy of Aviation Police Officers in Taichung was higher than those in Kaohsiung. Then, there was significant different self-efficacy in different social status. By using Scheffe multiple comparison tests, the result was shown siganificcnce Furthermore, the self-efficacy of Aviation Police Officers graduated from two-year college was higher than those graduated from high school.
(2) There was significantly different career developments in different airport officers. The career development of Taichung Aviation Police Officers was higher than those Taoyuan, Songshan, and Kaohsiung Aviation Police Officers. However, the career development of Kaohsiung Aviation Police Officers was also higher than Taoyuan Aviation Police Officers.
(3) There was significantly different social support of Aviation Police Officers in different airports. In terms of family support, Kinmen Aviation Police Officers gained more support than Songshan and Kaohsiung Aviation Police Officers while the middle-class Aviation Police Officers family gave more support than the family with financial deficiency. The male Aviation Police Officers gained more support from the supervisor than the female counterparts. The Aviation Police Officers ages from 31 to 40 gained more support from peers than ages from 41 to 50. The Aviation Police Officers graduated from college gained more support from peers than the those graduated from high school and two-year college.
(4) Self-efficacy accounted for the variance of family support (26.8%). Self-efficacy had significantly positive influence on family support, with significant regression effects (F=192.611,P<.001). Self-efficacy accounted for the variance of peers’ support (33.1%). Self-efficacy had significantly positive influence on peers support, with significant regression effects (F=116.932,P<.001). Self-efficacy had a significantly positive influence by the supervisors support. The overall statistical model was effective (F=235.21、R²=0.647、Adj. R²=0.644), while β of self-efficacy decreased from (0.491***) to (0.189***). The mediator of family support had significant negative influence (-0.010,p<.01), and peers support had significant positive influence (0.035,p<.05). Finally, social support had moderated mediation effect on self-efficacy and career development.
