碩士 === 國立金門大學 === 建築學系 === 106 === ABSTRACT With the rapid development of urban construction in the cities of Maindland China, a significant change has taken place in recent years in urban space structures and functions. A considerable amount of industrial legacies of important historical, aesthetic, and architectural value are disappearing fast from the cities. Most industrial architectures, as products of the planned economy, are no longer adaptive to the market and being replaced. Moreover, the number of industrial architectures that have historical and cultural values is also reducing fast from cities. These industrial legacies, no matter which stage they’ve experienced in the development and evolution of the society, are of important historical value to our descendants. For this reason, it has been a social issue to figure out how to better protect and develop industrial legacies and preserve them for human society. Research of the value and reuse of Shaoxing Distillery’s original site was based on the summary of research achievements of current industrial legacies. Firstly, in accordance with the history and facts obtained by investigation and analysis, its industrial legacy value was analyzed by means of factor evaluation, the precious and abundant value of Shaoxing Distillery’s original site in terms of history, society, human culture, architecture, brand, and protection was introduced, and an in-depth research was conducted on the carrier and ways of presentation of its legacy value. Secondly, with consideration to Shaoxing Distillery’s basic information, related protective and developmental measures were proposed, including the planning in respect of area, industry, space, functions, transportation, environment, and basic facilities, and the approaches of protection and development for the elements of the legacy’s carrier. Finally, a blueprint in conformity with the protective and developmental planning of Shaoxing Distillery’s original site was proposed. This study is aimed to research the legacy value and protection and development planning of Shaoxing Distillery’s original site, and to put forward appropriate and effective ideas for identifying, protecting, and developing industrial legacies, and meanwhile to make an effective plan for the site’s value evaluation system, and its protection and development. The result of this research is of practical significance to scientifically and effectively making protective and developmental plans for Shaoxing Distillery’s original site and taking appropriate and effective measures for reusing and developing this legacy, and is of important referential value for reusing and developing other old industrial parks in other cities of Mainland China.
