Summary: | 碩士 === 高雄醫學大學 === 醫學社會學與社會工作學系碩士班 === 106 === The objects of the research were the elder volunteers in National Science and Technology Museum, and the intention of this research was to survey the relationship between leadership styles and job involvement of the elder volunteers. The method used in this research was questionnaire survey. The first draft of the questionnaire was edited based on related literature and researches, after the modification by professionals and scholar, the conduct of item-analysis and reliability analysis, formal questionnaire was finally completed. The questionnaires were distributed to 739 people, of whom 626 replied. A total of 536 effective questionnaires were acquired, and the effective response rate was 85.62%. The statistical approaches used in this research included descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, t-test, one-way analysis of variance, and linear regression. It was concluded that:(a)In terms of the relationship between personal backgrounds and job involvement of the elder volunteers, the significant differences lay in age and year of volunteer experience.(b)There was a significant correlation between leadership styles and job involvement of the elder volunteers.(c)In terms of the explanatory ability of personal backgrounds towards job involvement of the elder volunteers, age, level of education, gender, and religion have partial explanatory ability.(d)Leadership styles have explanatory ability towards job involvement of the elder volunteers. Finally, suggestions were provided based on the conclusion of the research, as references for government agencies, volunteer application organizations, the volunteers themselves, and further researches.
